Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (the Starscape Australia Terms and Conditions) together with the Pre-Arrival Guide, govern the relationship between Starscape Australia and any individual using or accessing this website (the Starscape Australia Website) and any of the content or services available through it as a Guest or potential Guest (each, a Guest or You or Your).

“Booking” means the period for which you have paid to stay at the Property.

“Property” means Starscape Australia Cabins (and all its fixtures, fittings and equipment) including the area surrounding the Cabins from the moment the Guests enter the main gate.

“Guests” means the persons who stays in the Cabin during the Booking.

The Starscape Australia Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between Starscape and Guest/You/Your/. By using or accessing the Starscape Australia Website, our platforms or systems, or by making a booking with Starscape Australia, You acknowledge that You agree to and are subject to the Starscape Australia Terms and Conditions.

Starscape Australia reserves the right to amend the Starscape Australia Terms and Conditions at any time and the use of the Starscape Australia Website and/or Starscape Australia Services by You constitutes your agreement to be bound by the Starscape Australia Terms and Conditions, as amended. We therefore recommend that each time You access the Starscape Australia Website or use Starscape Australia Services, You read the Starscape Australia Terms and Conditions.
Our Services

Starscape Australia Services are provided to adults over the age of eighteen (18) years. By making a booking with Starscape, You acknowledge that You are over 18 years of age.
Reservation & Payment

A Booking is not confirmed until payment is received in full.

Prices on the Starscape Australia Website are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Starscape Australia will endeavour to ensure that the prices are current.

Once a booking is confirmed, Starscape Australia undertakes to fulfil the booking at the price listed at the time of the booking.

Starscape Australia reserves the right to charge your credit card to cover any additional costs incurred as result of any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, excess garbage, extra guests beyond those declared, etc.

Starscape Australia reserves the right to make a decision based on extreme weather conditions that could impact safety. This includes but is not limited to: floods, bushfires and extreme heat.
Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that sometimes things can change. For changes made at least 15 days prior to arrival there is no cancellation fee and guests can choose to either reschedule, receive a gift voucher for the full amount or a refund minus our processing fee.

For changes made 8-15 days prior to arrival, there is a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount.

For cancellations within 8 days prior to arrival there will be no refund, voucher or rebooking - partial or otherwise.

Starscape Australia reserves the right to charge an additional fee for any rescheduled bookings including but not limited to emergency or injury where documentation or proofs are supplied.

For bookings made that include a public holiday surcharge or fee, this fee is non refundable if you cancel or reschedule your booking. The normal cancellation policy is void for these bookings and there are no refunds for cancellations or reschedules less than 15 days prior to your stay.

Starscape Australia may offer to reschedule, or cancel and refund your booking if there is an extreme weather occurance outlined by the relevant weather bureau for the area. This includes but is not limited to: flooding, bushfires and extreme heat.
Check-in & Check-out

Check-in time is from 2:00 PM onwards. Check-out time is by 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated upon request and availability.
Guests Responsibility

Our Cabins are located on rural and undeveloped areas of land that is not occupied by the landowner all year round. As such You acknowledge that You are responsible for Your own safety in and around the Cabin and Property.

You acknowledge that You are aware of the risks entailed in visiting a wilderness environment.

Extreme weather events can be dangerous especially in rural areas. You acknowldge that You are aware of the danger travelling to and staying at a Cabin.
Arrival at the Cabin & Property

Within 7 days of Your arrival date, Starscape Australia will provide You with a Pre-Arrival Guide to the email address provided on the booking form.

Within 24 hours of Your arrival date, Starscape Australia will provide You via SMS the Cabin access information and any associated key-box code.

In order to get to the property, you will need to travel down approximately 6 kms of council maintained dirt/gravel road. The road is Two Wheel Drive (2WD) accessible however caution needs to be maintained while driving this road. The conditions of this road can vary depending on weather conditions and most 2WD vehicles have no issues at all in all weather conditions. We do not accept any responsibility for any damage to vehicles, or if you do not wish to drive your vehicle on the dirt road, you will be responsible for any additional transport costs as a result. Please watch out for animals and wildlife and drive to the conditions.

Any gates opened by You must be closed directly after. You are responsible for ensuring You do not leave any gates open on the Property. You will be liable for any loss or damage resulting from the failure to close any gates opened by You.

The speed limit on our property is 15km/h, please respect this to minimise dust disturbance, for your own safety and the safety of other guests and for the integrity of the road.

You agree to follow the Supplied Route and park any Vehicles in the Designated Parking Area (as defined in the Pre-Arrival Guide).

You must not drive any Vehicles off the Supplied Route (into the paddocks) as this may damage the property. You will be responsible for any loss or damage caused to the Cabin or Property if Your Vehicle(s) do not remain on the Supplied Route or Designated Parking Area.

During wet or poor weather, You may be notified of a weather warning. In the event you are notified of a weather warning, You agree to park your Vehicle/s in any alternative nominated Wet Weather Zones. Failure to follow the procedures outlined in the Pre-Arrival Guide may result in damage to your Vehicle/s including becoming bogged and / or requiring towing. Any costs associated with failure to adhere to the weather warning will be incurred by You at Your own expense.
Staying in the Cabin

Outdoor fire pits must not be used from 1st December to 1st March due to heightened fire danger or on any other fire ban days. If there is a fire ban in place, You will be notified and You must adhere to the Fire Ban Notice. Failure to adhere to the Fire Ban Notice will result in immediate eviction from the Cabin and Property. You will be liable for any loss or damage to the Cabin and/or Property resulting from the failure to adhere to a Fire Ban Notice.

Outside the summer season, campfires must be contained within the designated fire-pit and must be kept below knee-height and never left unattended. Fires must be extinguished by midnight and prior to departure.

You must respect the local wildlife and not approach any animals, domestic or otherwise on the Property. All local flora and fauna must be respected. No hunting or fishing is permitted on the property at any time.

Noise can be a serious issue in rural communities. Good neighbourly conduct is expected and You must not make excessive noise and play loud music at any time of day or night. All outdoor music must cease by 10 PM and be taken indoors with doors shut so that noise does not travel to the neighbours.

You acknowledge that You are fully liable for any loss or damage You cause to the Cabin or Property. Starscape Australia reserves the right to deduct charges from Your credit card for any loss or damage incurred.

You agree that only those persons indicated on the booking form will enter the Cabin and Property. Visitor are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. This includes (but is not limited to) photographers, tour operators & other local service providers (excluding approved operators booked via Starscape Australia).Starscape Australia reserves all rights to evict You from the Cabin and Property if this is not adhered to. Starscape Australia reserves the right to charge you the full security bond after your stay if additional people stay in the cabin.

You agree to behave responsibly when using the Cabin and the surrounding area. Parties are not permitted.

Smoking is not permitted inside the cabin(s), in the verandah, in the StarDome, on the deck or within 10m from the outside of the buildings.

You are responsible for the safekeeping and replacement of accommodation keys.
Pets
-
Pets are not permitted in the Cabin or on the Property.
Children
-
Children are not permitted in the Cabin or on the Property. Starscape Australia offers an adult only (18+) service due to potential risks to children in wilderness area under unsupervised conditions.
Motorsport
-
We do not permit any kind of motorsports on the property, both due to disturbance to other guests, and due to insurance. This includes but is not limited to Motor bikes, Dirt Bikes & ATVs. Any breach of this policy will lead to immediate eviction and complete loss of money paid, and you will be liable for any other damages to the property or expenses incurred in respect to Guest disturbance.
Departure from the Cabin and the Property

All Vehicles are to promptly depart the Cabin and Property via the Supplied Route.

You agree to leave the Cabin and Property by the Departure Date and allocated time.

For early departures prior to Your Departure Date, there will be no refund, voucher or rebooking - partial or otherwise. Any rubbish, unreasonable mess or damage in or around the cabin will incur an extra cleaning fee.

You agree to leave the Cabin and Property in the same condition as when You arrived, subject to natural wear and tear.

Before departure, all food must be removed from fridges, all rubbish put in the appropriate rubbish bins provided, and crockery and cutlery washed and packed away. The Property must be left in a clean and tidy condition. If the BBQ has been utilised please ensure it is thoroughly cleaned using the products provided. A $50 cleaning fee may be charged if left untidy.

You agree to notify Starscape Australia of any damage caused to the Cabin and / or Property incurred during your stay. Starscape Australia reserves the right to charge You any fees associated with replacement of damaged items.
Warranties and Starscape Australia Liability

In the case of any problem or complaint, you must inform Starscape Australia at the earliest opportunity so we can have the chance to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible. You must allow repair/service access to the property during reasonable hours.

Any complaint, which cannot be resolved locally, must be notified in writing to Starscape Australia prior to departure from the Property.

Failure to follow this procedure this may hinder the ability to rectify the problem or complaint and reduce or extinguish any claim you may have.

We recommend all guests purchase travel insurance since Starscape Australia is not responsible for any injuries, illness or accidents that may occur whilst staying at our property.
Privacy

Starscape Australia undertakes to take all due care with any information which You may provide to us when accessing the Starscape Australia Website. However we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which You may provide to Starscape Australia. Information you transmit to us is entirely at your own risk although we undertake to take reasonable steps to preserve such information in a secure manner.

Starscape Australia compliance with privacy legislation is set out in our separate Privacy Policy which may be accessed from the Starscape Australia Website home page.
Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction under which the applicant resides, and any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the jurisdiction under which the applicant resides.
By making a reservation, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
